Life in autumn

October 25, 2012

How beautifully leaves grow old.
How full of light and color are their last days.
~John Burroughs

By the time autumn returns to the Northern Hemisphere (and our little garden),
i would have harvested more french lavender than i know what to do with. And surely i have felt the urge, on more than one occasion, to take at least a few pictures
of something (or anything) right before or after it rains that sweet autumn rain.
The overcast moody sky on a rainy autumn day makes me want to do two things – curl up on my sofa, and/or run for the camera. Both are my favorite things.
